The Accelerated Comprehensive AIDS Response for Epidemic Control and Sustainability (aCARES) is been implemented in all the 18 LGAs of Ondo State in partnership with AIDS Prevention Initiative in NIGERIA (APIN).
In line with the project objectives, HUFFPED is providing a safe and secure community for Children within our communities of interventions where we are implementing several activities which includes formation of Child Protection Committee (CPC) being one of the structures created and put in place to provide ‘child safe’ space where children are respected, protected and empowered to participate in their own protection and well supported activities in meeting their protection responsibilities.
HUFFPED in partnership with Heartland Alliance LTD/GTE (HALG) is implementing Accelerating control of the HIV epidemic Six (ACE 6) project. This is a project focusing on intervention to accelerate the achievement of HIV epidemic through the delivery of high impact of HIV prevention, care and support services to general population.
The areas of the project include HIV/AIDS/PEP/Prep, tuberculosis, pediatrics/adolescents, PMTCT, etc.
The goal of the project is intended to provide evidence-based services that will deliver measurable results by addressing programmatic and systems barriers to epidemic control. Humanity Family Foundation for Peace and Development (HUFFPED) in partnership with Heartland Alliance LTD/GTE (HALG) is implementing ACE 6 project in five local government areas of Lagos State namely Agege, Badagry, Ikorodu, Kosofe and Somolu LGA. We work with 25 counselor testers volunteers.
However, the objective of the project is to conform with the UNAIDS 95/95/95/ HIV Prevention strategy.
Women right and health project funded by Global affairs Canada supported by actionaid in collaboration with women voice and leadership project (wvl)in which huffped is implementing in majidun awori and Ewelna in other to reach out to vulnerable women and girls in ikorodu community
Intervention /Focus
1. To address GBV, self defense mechanism and anti stigma against women and girls.
2. To encourage adolescent girls to embrace positive norms in the comm6 and value to do away with negative norms that can jeopardize the future n
3. To facilitate and give women access to social , economic support to the vulnerable community.
4. To facilitate and increase women participation in decis6 making in private and public space
Integrated child health and social service award (ICHSSA 2) under the prime implementing partners Association of reproductive and family health (ARFH) funded by USAID
Project goal; is to mitigate the impact of HIV on orphan and vulnerable children and there families infected or affected by HIV.
